I did stay in Sengiggi when I was in Lombok. South Lombok are definitely nice but there are quite a lot of beaches there

I love Lombok and we always stay in Senggigi, well just outside of Senggigi at Holiday Resort. A cheap and quick $2 aud taxi ride and you can have the best Italian meal at Pasta Pojok YUM! We ate at the warung you went to and didn't think it was that nice, it is a great spot for a sunset drink though. Senggigi is relaxing and the people are lovely. We are booked to go back in November, can't wait.
I don’t know wether it’s just me or not but I really appreciate the authenticity of real Indonesia. I would never have imagined people would build a hut on a beach. Something about that idea makes you feel free.

In Lombok Kuta, you are right about local food. There are not much choices there. I usually go Tanjung Aan beach local warung for local food. In Kuta main street, there's a pretty decent Japanese ramen place (they make their ramen), a good Chinese (they make their noodle), a good sourdough pizza (which appeared in your video background, but it probably closed in the morning). Sunday Market in Kuta is quite fun to visit. There's a "chic" club on the Prabu hill, you can see the whole Kuta.
You went to the right beach (Selong Belanak) for buffaloes, but in the wrong time. The buffaloes usually pass by the beach around 5-ish.
Been to Lombok about 10 years ago hope your lunch was nice I wasn't there long enough to see much thanks for the vid

Hi Winnie & Damien,no comment on kuta Lombock I sent you last night,people already liked it,and hay I said sengigi is better and you will b more welcomed,and what do you know you are there,hope you will comment as I've been following you since December 2021,have a great time,will c u guys in September.
Kuta has better view, better beach. But Senggigi is classic with relax vibe.
Make sure you go to Gili T. Not much open on all Gili but most on Gili T.
