   Edit: I watched this and I think it could have been done better! Don't get me wrong, the movie was funny and relatable (especially since myself and my whole family on both sides are Filipino) but I wish they could have set up the movie better. Instead of squishing the whole plot into one little day (which is Easter Sunday as implied) they could have spread the movie's plot out along the week before Easter Sunday, with the climax occurring ON Easter Sunday like in the original plot. This would also give time for everything in the plot to develop including the relationship between Jo Joy's son and that girl. It would also make more sense in the grand scheme of things and it would get to include more things from the Filipino culture along with more plot time! If you are wondering where I got this idea from, I got it from a Netflix comedy where Adam Sandler and Kevin Heart are preparing for a wedding between their families, (I forgot the title of the movie.) And yes, I also watch too much CinemaSins.

    I saw the movie Easter Sunday.
    Honesty, FEW people who watched it were in denial, they can’t accept that the movie was BAD.
    I’m PINOY, the movie / script / plot was poorly made.👎👎👎✌️rate it 5.5 out of 10.
    Actors / Actress were good, props to them.
    If the script was written by PINOY, this movie would have been better.

34. This really true I'm half Filipino-japanese and our family always fight a lot for even no reason at all especially my cousins it's annoyingly fun. Back in Japan is so boring and pressure it's fun sometimes but ever since i live here in the Philippines since i was 15 things turn different, everyday is really fun i enjoyed it a lot, there's a toxic people but still most of them are good people.
