2. How durable are the connections. will the connections become loose after some time as the screws may loose? I intend to make a dry wall with aluminum extrusions instead of using metal studs. The reason is that I want to hang cabinets. Metal stud dry wall seems to be weak and only for light duty loads.

Seems a bit of a fail as far as RTA ideology…the end fastener needs to be end drilled and tapped, the corresponding leg needs to be drilled with a special jig to locate the custom hole…not very "RTA". The system for the End Fastener needs to be re-designed to avoid the end user custom fabrication required for assembly. The "cost-effectiveness" is completely lost once you add in the required customizations. The Corner Plate(s) are machine-free but as the host pointed out (twice) it is NOT a strong connection. Thanks for the video; you have certainly demonstrated the short comings of the 80/20 system.

19. I want to make a fence for my table saw for me I think I want 2 rails front and back of the saw im looking at 4040 for this but then i want a piece of 4080 as the fence itself. But i need to beable to slide the 8040 left to right along the 2 4040 extrusions. is there a way to do this thats easy? i dont want to use V rollers/wheels or whatever you call them id just like an interface between the extrusions that allows them to slide along each other
