Having seen each season of Tourist sauce multiple times now I have to say this episode stands out from the rest. It prompted me to purchase Tom Coyne’s book and now I’m in the midst of reading it and realizing this season is an extension of his book just adds another layer. DJ you have an incredible gift.
We went last may, and now it is on for a yearly visit. Absolutely fantastic.
Just bought a ton of Caleb Etheridge as a result of this series.
Thanks to this video I made the trip to Carne this week ago, it is everything this video makes it out to be and MORE. Thank you NLU
☘!
Played both courses at the weekend. Courses in great condition and weather was great. Only thing was GPS watched was all over the place.
Played the Kilmore 9 today, unbelievable!! Most fun I've had on a Golf Course
Video and the music is just top notch 👏 👏
Great video, I stayed in Belmullet for my son’s wedding, all the way from Florida, played the course, so incredible!
Coming in May of 22 to play all 27, can't wait
I love to play the course but I cannot afford all the add ons. The caddy, the fore caddy. extras.
Great course,buts it's Gerry that's make's it,great host👍⛳
This video & the opinions of Tom Coyne & John Garrity have inspired me to become an Overseas Life Member as of this week despite having never played the course & I cant wait to visit in 2022
GututwqxXcZzz🙉🙉🙉🙉🐽🐷🙈
Scotland and Ireland really have the most memorable courses in the world. They can be raw, rugged, and untamed; but they last longer in the memory than any of the overly manicured private clubs we have too many of here.
Just got back from Ireland. Played all 3 nines at Carne during my 3 rounds there. As great as the Hackett course is, the Kilmore 9 tops it. Amazing place. FYI, they switched the 9s on the Hackett course since this was filmed. So, for example, the 17th on the Hackett that Tom Coyne mentioned is now the 8th. Spoke to Gerry and Fiona and mentioned this video. Gerry said that the guys showed up early in the morning and were very professional. There is a reason why this series is so good and they make it look so casual. Oh, and my buddy aced the Kilmore 7th (18:55 on the video) from the white tees with a strong wind at our backs.
3 weeks from now I will play it again after 2 years. 😍
Brought a tear to my eye listening to the love for this place by all involved. Pilgrimage scheduled for 2023!
I just realized it on this episode… This channel is the Top Gear of golf😅
Any Americans or anybody else who's thinking of coming, my best advice is, come in September or October, at least in Leinster, since we're the dryest part of Ireland, we almost always have beautiful weather during those months…This year though, to be honest, its been sunny since February, only in the last 3 weeks has it gotten pretty wet. From 2013 to 2018, we had great summers, so our rain now's very overdue…But i would advise that you come over September or October, for Leinster at least, and the skies are more colorful that time of the year too so its lovely. We get nice weather from the gulf of Mexico…Ireland isn't as rainy as people think.
Carne feels like the “La Grave” of golf courses.
Anyone know the track names/artists for the music in this episode?
I've played most of the great links courses in Ireland and Scotland (lucky me). This isn't the easiest place to get to, or even the best conditioned course in the county.
It's the most magical golf course I've ever played. Raw. It feels like the end of the world.
Ok I’m going!
Hope they don't "flood" Carne till after I get to play it.
I play it 4-5 times a year and still get a buzz every time. You need to see it to believe it!
What a beautiful place.!!!
This place looks like heaven. Great video
Stumbled upon tourist sauce a few weeks ago. Watching an episode each morning is the highlight of my day. You guys are living what many of us dream of, great work! If you ever need a higher handicap (16) for comic relief, I am your guy. Thanks again for the great series!
This is as good as golf video could ever get. Thank you.
Played Carne in 2001. Perhaps the most challenging and gratifying rounds I've ever played. Certainly the most memorable! Great course.
Thank you Tom Coyne.
My family are from this area, most beautiful place in Ireland
Stunning. Very well done fellas 👏
Can't wait to get back to Carne. This year's trip was canceled (just like everyone else's), but I've already booked my flight for 2021. And there is an outside chance for something late this year.
My father is from Bellmullet, Co Mayo. A rough and rugged county. Known for the fighting men of the West. Beautiful, thank you for showing this area
Carne…sounds meaty. I definitely need to put this on the list when going over there
Hi fellas – a big fan from across the pond, I love what you do, and how you do it. Just purchased some merch from Carne's online store to support the club. Amazing content and keep safe guys. Regards Johnny Balata
“….it would be Pearl Jam.” Resonates with me. Congratulations on getting to have that experience.
